My last few days at work were busy as always, but very nice. Definitely sad to be done with my internship, as I really loved returning here to work. LA has been super awesome! The food and atmosphere here are just really relaxing and great. Great food and the beach is always a plus! And the weather. Can’t beat the weather.
It was nice to get a different perspective than that in Ohio. The world just seems a lot bigger now that I know what I want to do and where I want to live! Plus, I was able to choose a meal for the whole office on my last day. Mediterranean is always my favorite, and the whole office was super happy that me being here was able to help give them a free meal.
These few days were really about helping to finish up getting everything ready for the beginning of the Streisand tour. I helped out my coworker in getting all the cartage ready for everything that he would need when the was on the road with the rest of the crew. There’s so much music, and they definitely need a lot to make sure they do not miss one single thing when they are on tour. We know a lot might change while they’re on the road, but we were able to get everything we knew printed and ready for the journey.
At the end of the day, there were still many tasks to get done. We got in a few more movies so I was able to do my normal tasks for those--check in, print, tape, and organize. After the huge rush that was the Streisand tour, my internship ended on a more relaxed note as I packed up to go home one last time and get ready for the flight tomorrow to go to Arizona, and then all the way back to Ohio to spend the last few weeks resting before school starts up again.
